This is where contents are represented in the combination of different forms. This contrast using different media to compute and displays such as text, or traditional forms of printed or hand-produced material, audio, still images, animation or video.

This assignment is not just compiling information randomly, a story need to be told using the chosen media. A minimum of three media should be used and each should tell a story linking to them to a broad topic.

Story - Anything written or recorded is a potential story…I think! 

Real life is a story. Everything we do can be outline as a story as simple as it may be, i.e. a telephone message can be a story; the caller, the recipient, time called, why they called is as basic as it gets in story telling. Already this is an outline for this message story.

Can I tell a story about hair?

Hair will be the topic for my multi-media blog story. This will be a real life story looking at how hair has evolved in the 21^st century in Jamaica. I will be looking at the culture of hair as it relates to fashion, events and commercialization.

How I choose a media to tell each element of this story is very important, as the right media will decide how effective the story is and how it will impact the audience. As I go on my journey to complete this task, knowing the effect of media will be very vital in the success of this project.
